“Ride your bike!”

Britt first fell in love with mountain biking when, as a fifteen-year-old alpine skier, she attended a summer national team training camp in Fernie, BC. “We went on a ride and I was like, ‘this is all I want to do for the rest of my life,’” she says. Although Britt hasn’t completely traded in her skis for mountain biking, she spends half the year competing on large features and big air jumps in Skier Cross at the World Cup level.

At the 2018 Winter Olympics, Britt won the Silver Medal. It was a dream come true for Britt, but she still feels there is some unfinished business left and has her sights set on the next Olympics in China 2022. Britt has spent most of the past year rehabbing one of the toughest injuries of her life and is more than ready to get back to competitive life. In between training camps for the Olympics, Britt plans to head to Europe to compete at the EWS races and Whistler Crankworx. Britt’s laid-back style and impressive gym routine keep her at the top of her game and can be seen on her Instagram.

What is your favorite local trail?

"Hey Bud on Blackcomb. It’s a quick climb up with a sweet downhill. Its got roots and rocks and steeps and flow. I feel like I’ve learnt a lot from that trail and riding it always makes me feel like I know exactly how to ride my bike."
