Bike Size: Small
Bike Set-Up Highlights: I don’t have any crazy bike set ups really, I do like a specific tune on my rear shock, and two tokens in my Rockshox Lyrik fork, but for the most part I just throw some lube on the chain, and get out there on the trails.
Most anticipated event for 2016: I can’t wait for the Trans Provence - my highlight for sure.
Our resident adventurer, Anka, began her season as ambitious as ever. It began with the Rally of Aysén Patagonia in January and continued with the Santa Cruz Andes Pacifico in February. Unfortunately, a crash there led to a broken metacarpal in her right hand, but that didn’t stop her from going on to complete the Tour of Aotearoa, a a 3000km brevet in New Zealand! Anka will miss the first two Enduro World Series rounds in order to continue rebuilding strength in her hand. Once that’s done, you can be sure you'll see her out there again at the EWS and Trans Provence, and also leading mountain biking yoga trips in Scotland and France.
Anka Martin hits the road to explore the nooks and crannies of her homeland.
