I've been riding bikes for a long time, and like to do everything from XC racing, to gravel adventuring, to mtb bikepacking, to road touring, and everything in between, but mainly I love mtb adventures with my friends.
Eventually, my love of mountain biking led me out of the classroom where I was teaching high school, and into the non-profit world of high school cycling. I've been the Executive Director of the NorCal High School Cycling League for almost a decade, and I absolutely love my job. With no benches and complete inclusivity, this truly is a sport that's accessible to every high school student in America. But there's lots of other stuff I'm into, too!
My husband Yuri, and I (and our big dog, Kingston) love adventuring in our van, searching out new trails, great camp spots, and all of the beauty that the American west has to offer. As a cancer survivor, I am motivated to squeeze every last drop of awesome out of each day. I am also busy mentoring other cancer fighters as they fight the fight of their lives.
When I am not riding bikes with my girlfriends, my student-athletes or my husband, you can find me digging in our garden, practicing yoga, making art out of reclaimed junk and enjoying all the good food and wine that Sonoma County, CA has to offer. You know what's random? I am also a licensed minister, a commercial driver, a music festival producer, a paddler, a former dance instructor, and a pro egg scrambler, but don't get me started on all that ;) See you out there!
