Rose Grant
Rose Grant
Five-time Marathon Mountain Bike National Champion and 2019 Leadville 100 winner, Rose Grant is not only one of the fiercest competitors on the National cross-country circuit, but also an amazing mother and role model to her seven-year-old daughter, Layla. Rose loves the challenges that racing brings and how some of the toughest moments push her to achieve grace, empathy and vulnerability. Through Rose’s racing journey, she welcomes the opportunity to love, inspire, and mentor others along the way. “I have a heart for moms in empowering them to continue to pursue their passions and adventure outdoors.”
Rose and her family live in Northwest Montana, where she spends many of the winter months logging serious trainer time and skiing to prepare for the upcoming race season. Most winters, Rose says she escapes the cold Montana temperatures by packing up the family and heading to Tucson, Arizona for some long base miles. Rose has her sights set on attending Leadville 100, Breck Epic, a few ProXCT events this year along with a few gravel races sprinkled in throughout the season.
What made you a lifer (was it a moment, a ride, a trip, etc.)?
"I was granted a gift through bikes. I found new talent that brought with it joy, purpose, fulfillment, and the missing puzzle piece that made my life feel like it came full circle."
