Born to be an ambassador, Rachel promotes both positivity and realness, whether it’s through a challenge accepted, a new path explored, confessing a difficulty, or sharing a simple moment of connection. And you can call Rachael a cyclist rather than a pure mountain biker, because for her, “Riding bikes provides so much more than exercise. Sure it keeps you fit and healthy, but riding to me is like soul food.”
From long days in the saddle churning out the XC miles on adventures like the Yak Attack in the Himalayas, to racing insane enduro stage races like the Andes Pacifico, she’s “a sucker for type 2 fun.” The Surrey Hills of Southern England are home, and Rachael loves having their network of fun, flowy trails right outside her door.
Cycling has afforded Rachel many perks, including meeting her partner, and together they have started a small “Dafé” roasting business, Date Coffee Co. Whether she’s cycling, trail running, or hiking, you’ll find Rachael basking in the freedom of the countryside whenever possible.
Who's your favorite riding buddy and why?
"One of my top riding buddies has got to be fellow Juliana ambassador, Julia Hobson. I know if I ever have a crazy adventure idea or equally just fancy a long old pedal, Julia will always say yes. Julia and I have had some amazing adventures together in the UK, Europe and further afield in Nepal. You know you have a good riding buddy when you can talk all day non-stop if you choose, or say nothing all day and it's ok!"
